Linda Faye Willoughby passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Sentara Leigh Hospital.
She was born on May 13, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia. She graduated from Norview High School in 1965 and married Barry W. Willoughby on September 7, 1968.
After working many years in retail, she kept busy by tending to her family and her church. She enjoyed hosting holiday and birthday events with Christmas being her favorite holiday.
Linda served in Connect Church’s food ministry for over eight years as it was in her heart to feed people. She was a very generous and giving person who loved helping other people. Her hobbies were collecting angels, circle-a-word books and watching Christmas movies.
She is predeceased by her mother Dorothy Tsikuris and father, Costa Tsikuris, Sr.
Linda is survived by her husband, Barry W. Willoughby, her daughter, Kimberly Willoughby, her brother and sister-in-law, Costa Tsikuris, Jr., and Deverly Tsikuris as well as their children, grandchildren, and a great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Jeff Willoughby and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Nordyke, Lisa Ballard, Linda Flake and Toni Kunc and their families.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Altmeyer Funeral Home and Cremations, Southside Chapel located at 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23462. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. and will be immediately followed by a graveside service held at Rosewood Memorial Park located at 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
