Ashlyn Cam Baker, 28, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on the evening of August 24, 2024 as a result of a singular vehicle motorcycle accident near College Dr, Suffolk, VA.
Ashlyn was born on July 18, 1996 to Brett and Lisa Baker in Bremerton, WA. After Ashlyn graduated from Hickory High School in 2015, she went on to study Military Science at Norfolk State University.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Military Science, she started working as an administrator in the Norfolk City courthouse before moving on to Human Resource at the Hampton Roads Community Health Center.
In 2018, Ashlyn gave birth to Cooper Hardison, her greatest pride and joy. Ashlyn loved Cooper more than anything or anyone in the world. Her life revolved around her precious baby boy. He was her joy, her strength and her source of inspiration. She was the proudest mother ever. She absolutely cherished every moment she spent with Cooper. They are soulmates and inseparable, even now they are certainly connected.
Services will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 929 Battlefield Blvd S., Chesapeake, VA. 23322 on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cooper’s Trust fund, as one last financial support to Cooper from his eternally loving mother.
