Donald Ray Moore Sr., 87, of Williamsburg Virginia went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2024.
He was born in Poquoson Virginia to Jesse Lee Moore and Lucille Tabb Moore.
Donald was an army veteran and a Deacon at Dandy Baptist Church in Yorktown, Virginia. He was well known as the owner of Moore’s Starter and Alternator Repair in Grafton, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Anne Moore, his two sons Donald Ray Moore Jr. and his wife, Michelle Moore; David Lee Moore and his wife Carol Moore. He had seven grandchildren; Rachel Riley, Steven Moore, Jessica Thomas, Derrick Moore, Jeremy Moore, Trudi Velez, and Danielle Moore. He had 14 great grandchildren.
Donald is preceded in death by his siblings, Alma Messick, Joyce Harris, Dorothy Lee Hamilton, Gerald Fay Moore and Mary Lou Hux.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church 4107 Rochambeau Drive in Williamsburg, VA 23188.
The family will receive friends one hour prior, with the burial proceedings located at the Richardson family cemetery, 5255 Riverview Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188.
