Jerry W. Hagler Sr. 81 of South Mills, N.C. died on Saturday May 18, 2024.
Born in Charlotte, N.C. to the late Nancy and George Hagler. He served in the U.S. Navy 20 years and retired as a Master Chief and also as a Civil Service Officer in 2005. He is a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Chesapeake, VA.
He’s survived by his wife Glenda Hagler, 3 children: Jerry Jr. Michael and Cheryl Hagler, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 step-daughters. He was pre- deceased by his parents Nancy and George Hagler, brother Steve Hagler and his late wife Georgia Hagler.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church at 916 Centerville Turnpike N, Chesapeake, VA 23320 with Pastor Mark Voss officiating. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
