Albert Garnett Copland, 62, of Charles City, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father, George F. Copland II, and his nephew, William Ruffin Creekmur.
He is survived by his mother, Ridgely King Copland; his brother, George F. Copland III, “Jeff” Copland (Tammy); his sisters, MaryPat Copland Davis (Curtis) and Carolyn Copland Haupt. He is also survived by two nephews, Christian F. Davis (Shelby) and John C. (Jack) Davis; a niece, Miranda K. Copland; great-niece, Nora G. Davis; many cousins and countless friends, including his beloved dog “Biggie”.
Garnett was an avid outdoor sportsman and never met a stranger. He was loved by all who knew him. He always lit up any room with his smile and fun-loving personality.
