Norris Miles Crawley, (affectionately known as Mama Norris) 93 of Charles City VA walked through the heavenly gates June 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years Beecher Crawley Sr.
She loved working puzzles, coloring, working in her flowers, watch the birds eat and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Beverly and son Beecher Jr (Debbie); brother in-law Vernon(Betty); grandchildren: Nicholle (Adam); Beecher III (Karen); Harold Jr; Mia (Leroy); Kerry; Marichal(Chardon); Tony Jr (Lashanda); Chris (Nadia); Tonya; and Crystal (Rall); a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; Brenda Crawley; Lena “Audrey” Jones; brother: Clyde “Click” Jones, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends, among them devoted: Geraldine Womack and Alice Johnson.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 in Gilfield Baptist Church cemetery, 6640 Church Lane Charles City VA 23030. A public viewing will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 6, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge VA 23140. There will be no repast.
