Danny moved to Norfolk as a child where he developed a passion for fishing with his Dad and uncle. As a teenager, he moved to Virginia Beach where he worked at his uncle’s seafood market, Murphy Brother’s Seafood. Danny was a graduate of Kempsville High School. He used braun, charm and wit to secure the title of CBO (Chief Bar Operations) with many of the Virginia Beach oceanfront resort establishments. After deferring a year at Harvard, Danny taught his pup, Roscoe a Labrador Shepard mix, arithmetic by barking out square-root mathematical answers. His favorites included Corner Market, The Reef, Sullivans, Dockside, and Froggies.

His larger than life personality, yet truly authentic self, Danny was loved by all who crossed his path. Always by his side, was one of his trusted canines, Roscoe or Maverick or most recently, Macke and his four year-old granddaughter, Esther.
