Felix David Dayrit, 81, joined our Creator on May 15, 2023.

Families and friends knew Felix was a lover of music. He loved singing, dancing, bowling and was a great swimmer. He liked to travel. He was a people person and served as a public official. He was a long-time officer of the church’s Parish Pastoral Council in his native land, Angeles City, Philippines until he migrated to the U.S. He worked at Clark Air Force Base for 25 years and at Walmart, Jefferson Branch for 10 years.

Felix was predeceased by his parents, Elpidio and Esperanza Dayrit; together with his 6 brothers and only sister, he was the last among his siblings to enter Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Marciana Dayrit; his children, Rolando (Rossana), Irma Dayrit-Gomez (Jesucito-deceased), Fernando (Irene), and Arnel (Sherry) and grandchildren, Rolando Jr (Camille), Josh Gomez, Ira, Faye, Steven, Samantha and Sean Dayrit.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Weymouth Funeral Home followed by a reception located next door at the Knights of Columbus.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church by Rev. George Prado and Rev. Joker “Jong” Bayta, followed by a reception at the church.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for all the prayers, love and support extended to them during this difficult time.
