Amy Jo Russell was born October 2, 1980, to Alma Russell and the late Ricky Russell, in Michigan. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.
The youngest of three children, Amy Jo, loved her family and friends. There was nothing she would not do to help anyone in need. She was feisty with an outgoing personality and knew what she wanted and how to get it. Her faith in God was unwavering. Amy Jo’s favorite color was red, and she was a die-hard 49ers fan. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memories forever are her parents, Alma Russell and Lawrence Person; daughter, Tashara Anderson; grandson, Asher Klinghagen; brother, David Magnan; sister, Wanda Gibson; nephews, Shadrick Gibson Jr., Michael Gibson, and Brian Gibson; great-nephew, Daylin Gibson; brother-in-love, Shadrick Gibson Sr.; sister-in-love, LaTanya Smith; mother-in-love, Margaret Trye; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, in Whiting’s Funeral Home. Ms. Russell may be viewed on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the hour of her service in the funeral home. Facial coverings are required for all services.
