On February 1, 2023, we lost our loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Barbara S Forrest. Barbara was born February 12, 1935 to Dr. Willard P Smith and Margaret W Smith in Hampton Virginia, who preceded her death. On March 4th 1961 she married the love of her life Kenneth E Forrest, who also preceded her in death. Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and quilting, but her true enjoyment was her family. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Forrest, Jr (Karen) Fruita, Colorado her daughter, Margaret Davis, (Tim) Williamsburg Virginia. She’s survived by her grandchildren Jacque Forrest, Ashley Forrest, Timothy, Davis, Jr,. Taryn Davis, Forrest Davis, Travis O’Neil and Tiffani Crow and eight Great grandchildren. She will be buried at Cedar Grove cemetery in Williamsburg. Virginia graveside services will be Feb 13th at 11:00 at Cedar Grove, there will be a viewing at 10 AM at Bucktrout Funeral Home. – Mom you will be missed more than you will ever know, we love you!
