Ammons, Christina 72 of Providence Forge, VA., went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rilda Newsome Sumpter. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Steve Ammons, 4 children, Tony Stone, Cherry Stone (Craig), James Stone (Terri) and Chrisken Baine (Scott Baine). She is also survived by her sisters, Geneva Wallen (Harry), Phyllis Conard (Dave), Linda Lewis (Randy) and Diana Fannin (Paul), grandchildren, Zecherian, Amber, Brittany and Uriah Stone, Jamie Cornette (Brandy), Dewayne Cornette, Kenna and Ben Crispin and Chris Wood, and her sweet precious fur baby Molly who really meant the world to her. Christina was a very vibrant and spunky lady. She enjoyed her retirement, loved gardening, bird watching, dancing, her family and grandchildren. At Christina’s wish, services will be private.
