A.B. Doughty, 85, of Quinton, VA passed away on December 28th, 2022. To all that knew him, he was always called by his initials A.B. He was a great husband, father, grandfather (AKA Pappy) and friend. Anytime you needed help with something he would be right there, way before the time needed and always went beyond what was expected. That’s who he was.
A.B. was born December 23rd,1937 in Florence, South Carolina to the late William and Audrey Doughty. He is survived by his wife Jenny, two sons, Thomas of Williamsburg, Virginia and William, wife Cathy and two grandsons, Josh and Jack of Waldorf, Maryland and sister Doris Forney of Hampton, Virginia.
Public viewing will be held Sunday, January 1st, 2023, at the Vincent Funeral Home in Providence Forge, Virginia from 5 to 7 PM. The memorial service will be held at the Sandston Baptist Church in Sandston Virginia on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, at 1 PM. The burial will be private.
