Patricia “Pat” Sours Graves, 68, of West Point passed away November 15, 2022. She was a graduate of West Point High School (Class of 1973) and Riverside School of Nursing. She spent 24 years of her nursing career at Riverside Walter Reed. Pat enjoyed competing in Cowboy Action Shooting and was the Virginia Lady Champion for multiple consecutive years. Pat’s biggest joy was spearheading the American Cancer Society benefit match Shoot For A Cure which raised thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Sours and Bernice Busick Avery; twin sister, Pam Sours; and sister, Joan Lee. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gary Graves; brother, Ansel “Sonny” Wills; two sisters, Sissy Wills and Faye Ellen Fowlkes.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 21st at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, VA 23181.
