Carol Ann Hockridge Moon of New Kent, VA passed away on October 8, 2022 after an unexpected hospital stay. Shel was born in Syracuse, NY on May 10, 1944 to the late Edwin Hockridge and Edna Martin Hockridge.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was extremely proud of her son, daughter, and grandchildren. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lanexa and especially loved working with the children. Carol was happiest when surrounded by all her family and cherished each one. She received great joy with their presence in her life. Her love and care for all of her family and friends will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Daniel F. Moon; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Moon Kelly and Raymond G. Kelly; son and daughter-in-law, Mark K. Moon and Jill Crockett Moon; grandchildren; sister, Elsie Hockridge; and many friends.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. October 22nd at Liberty Baptist Church, 15810 Liberty Church Road, Lanexa, VA 23089.
