Eric Benjamin Crump, 36, of Barhamsville, VA passed away September 26, 2022 at home, with his family surrounding him. Eric was born August 11, 1986 in Williamsburg, VA. He loved working at Harris Teeter and was fascinated with trains.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Crump; grandparents, Roger and Eva Staskiel; uncle, Butch Staskiel; and grandfather, Paul Crump. He is survived by his dad and stepmom, Bugzy and Tina Crump; grandmother, Phyllis McGowan; and his aunt and uncle, Richard and Margaret Mountcastle. Eric is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and a niece, Madalyn Milan that he loved dearly; as well as two of his close friends, Art Ritter and Heather Hurst. The family wants to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Virginia for their love, care and support.
A visitation will be held 5 to 8 PM, Monday, October 3rd at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point. The funeral service will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, October 4th at Christ Community Church, 9001 Richmond Rd. W., Toano, VA 23168. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Kent Humane Society, PO Box 104 Providence Forge, VA 23140.
