David Ray Morris, 66, of Little Plymouth, VA passed away September 22, 2022. David retired from West Rock after 44 years of service. He was an avid hunter but his ultimate love was farming and his family.
He was survived by his wife of 48 years, Doris; two children Ruth West (Jason) and David Morris (Jennifer); five grandchildren Holden West, Jack Morris, Cameron Morris, Cole West and Matthew Morris; his siblings Ruth Carlton (William Davis), Mary Rich (Jerry), Paul Morris (Bonnie), Jessie McGrath (Joe), Seabrook Morris (Sarah), Barbara Prince (Chris), Billy Morris (Marcie), Joe Morris (Lori) and Jimmy Morris; a very special friend he considered to be a brother, Tommy Neil Longest; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 27th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. Interment will follow in Lower, King & Queen Baptist Church Cemetery, 204 Timber Branch Road, Mascot, VA. 23108. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 26th at the funeral home.
