Patrick Allen “Pete” Jarvis, Sr. passed away August 20, 2022. Pete worked at The Pottery for 25 years and retired from James City County. He loved to fish and socialize with family and never turned down a good barbecue. Pete also enjoyed quiet time playing games on the computer like solitaire and hidden objects games.
He is preceded in death by his father James William Jarvis, and is survived by his mother Lois Elaine Anderson Jarvis Bradbury, two brothers, five sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was the loving father of Patricia Cline, Steven Jarvis, Scott Jarvis, Patrick Jarvis Jr, Timothy Jarvis, and Elizabeth Alsup and a loving grandfather to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will take place 11 AM, Saturday, August 27th at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the funeral home to help cover costs.
Father, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.
