NEWPORT NEWS — Barbara Frey Spence Harris, age 78, of Newport News, VA passed away on February 24, 2022. She was born in 1943 in Lawrenceville, VA to the late John and Irene Spence. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Leroy Harris, Jr; her four children, Dwayne Harris (Teresa), Julie Garrison, Elizabeth Karr (Marty), and Jennifer Mann (Jeff); her seven grandchildren, Brittney Hamilton (John), Zachery Mann, Cassandra Garrison, Gavin Mann, Brayden Karr, Ella Mann, and Ava Mann; four great-grandchildren, Skyler, Emma, Abigail, and Landon; her brother, Wayne Spence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
