Ronald (Ron) Dean Roebuck, 45

NEWPORT NEWS — Ronald (Ron) Dean Roebuck age 45, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2021.

Born in Kansas City MO on November 8, 1976. Ron graduated from Plymouth-Canton High School in Canton, MI. After High School, he joined the US Navy, when his enlistment was up, he moved to Virginia to be close to family to his mom and sister. Ron lived the past 21 years in both Williamsburg and Newport News. With a love of fixing and repairing things, Ron work as a Maintenance/Repair Technician at the Virginia Gazette, Icelandic USA and for the past 10 years Pepsi Co in Newport News VA. He loved his job and his coworkers. Ron’s favorite things were fishing, golfing and traveling back to Kansas City, MO to visit his Dad and cousins and go to Kansas City Royals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football games.

He is proceeded in death by his father Paul Ronald Roebuck of Kansas City MO and mother JoAnn Fleming-Jacobs of Williamsburg, VA, and recently his beloved Aunt Susan Kirks of Grain Valley, Mo who passed December 28 2021.

Ron leaves behind his sister Paula Jeffries (husband Jody), of Portsmouth, VA, nephew Matthew Jeffries and niece Amanda Jeffries of Portsmouth, VA. Uncle, Donald Roebuck (wife Jean) of Macon, Mo.; Uncle Roy Fleming of Augusta, GA, Uncle David Fleming (wife Rhonda) of Wildwood, Mo; Aunt, Lydia Roebuck of Columbia, Mo.; Cousins Julie Rudkin (husband Troy) ; Tracy Horton (husband Ron); Gary Roebuck (wife Nita) , Jim Roebuck (wife Jaynne), Brian Fleming, Rob Fleming (wife Gale), Sarah Fleming Keast (husband Mike), and many extended family members.

A celebration of life for Ron will be held on January 8 2022 from 3pm to 6pm, , at Mulberry Inn and Plaza at Fort Eustis, 16890 Warwick Blvd. Newport News, VA 23603.

Ron will be placed to rest next to his mother in Moberly, MO in a small private ceremony for family and friends at a separate date to be announced.
