NEW KENT — Roberta M. Runion, 65, of New Kent, VA passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021. She was born to the late Robert and Ruby Runions on April 6, 1956 and led a life of generosity, loyalty and devotion.
Roberta was a graduate of Virginia Tech with degrees in both Business and Accounting. She was employed in the restaurant business where she served in every position from server to management. She especially loved the Position of server and her customers loved her.
She loved to travel and in addition to her time in Hawaii she enjoyed her visits to Europe.
Roberta was ever loyal and devoted to family. In her parent’s later years, she moved from Richmond to her parent’s home on the Pamunkey River to help care for them and manage the farm.
Roberta was a generous woman, always extending a hand to help extended family and friends. She was a true animal lover to the end.
She is survived by numerous supportive family members and friends.
