NEWPORT NEWS — Bhagwany Bipat Harbants, 91, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born in 1930 at Bath Estate, Berbice, Guyana, she was the daughter of the late Ganga and Bifia Persaud. A wonderful homemaker, she doted on her family and will be missed.
Bhagwany was preceded in death by her husband, Harbants James Ramgobin; her sons, Harold, Ragbeer, Pitamber, Mukesh; her siblings, Phulo and Baiyo. She is survived by her 7 children, Leila, Devika, Nado, Maline, Gita, Vidya and Babita; her sons and daughters in law, Peter, Harold, Ramrattie, Ronald, Ganesh, Harry and Biagio; her grandchildren, Monique, Polly, Rajendra, Jetendra, Christopher, Sunil, Anil, Jason, Charlene, Randy, Sean, Bryan, Kumar, Sabrina, Yvonne, Devon, Bernard, Shane, Joshua, Mike and Sara; her great-grandchildren, Jason, Gabriella, Charlotte, Malia, Liam, Amaya, Anthony, Mark, Chase, Mila, Aven, Josslyn, Drewvon, Leah, Maya, Akshay, Anisha, Anushka and Elena.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday 11, 2021 at Weymouth Funeral Home.
