HAMPTON — Daryll Lamont Henderson, 51, transitioned on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at his home. He was born Feb. 8, 1970, in Newport News to Adell Henderson-Mann and the late Clifton Moore Jr.
He was affectionally known as “Tootie,” the name given to him by his maternal grandfather. Daryll was educated in the Newport News Public Schools, graduating from Warwick High School in 1988. While attending Warwick, he was on the varsity football team. He attended Norfolk State University and Thomas Nelson Community College. Daryll was presently employed at Walmart Distribution Center in Williamsburg. He also had his own lawncare business known as “Elite Lawn Care.”
Daryll is survived by his mother, Adell Henderson-Mann; stepfather, Keith Mann Sr.; two children; two brothers; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 5, at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
