
VIRGINIA BEACH — M. Lucille Hamilton, 96, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, and has gone to be with the Lord.
She was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Norfolk. Lucille was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who desired others to do the same. She lived largely and loved others deeply. Lucille was a loving and generous wife, mother and grandmother.
Lucille was preceded in death by her son, Hal Fields.
She is cherished in memory by her husband of 30 years, Sammie M. Hamilton; children, Wayne Fields (Joyce) of Columbia, South Carolina; Debra Manzione of Virginia Beach; daughter-in-law, Patsy Fields; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Musselman Jr. (Helen); sister, Dorothy Whitley; and numerous nieces, great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay McCoy conducting services. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. prior to services. Burial will follow services in Rosewood Memorial Park. Following the burial, there will be a reception at the funeral home reception room to fellowship with the family.
