
NEWPORT NEWS — Jennifer Loya, 23, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, less than a month after her 23rd birthday. She was a compassionate and loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to many.
Born and raised in Newport News, she was a licensed real estate agent. A warm heart and soft, yet vibrant smile, Jennifer was a socialite to all who knew her. As an animal enthusiast, she loved all animals and enjoyed their warm affection toward her son, Stefan. An accomplished plant mom, Jennifer had a way of working with plants that often times many blooms and buds brought smiles to life! She was always donating blood to the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her son, Stefan Baker Webb; parents, Alfredo Loya and Celia Ibarra Loya; brother, Alfredo Loya III; and sister, Montserrat Loya.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Sept. 18, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Father Francisco Fernando officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all guests are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
