Christine Ison Pesseh, 73, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, then moved to the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area, where she lived for the majority of her adult life. Christine spent her last few years residing in Virginia Beach.
Christine had a rambunctious and vibrant spirit, which made her memorable to everyone she met. She had the most beautiful smile and loved to laugh with her family. Christine was determined to celebrate life to the fullest and was especially energized when she was around people or outdoors in nature. Some of her favorite pastimes included reading, watching movies, listening to records and spending time with family.
Christine and her husband Isaac Sr. raised five children together, James, Isaac Jr., Christie, Maggie and Kweku. She was an extremely devoted and sacrificial mother, who cared for and protected her children. Christine’s children were and forever will be the loves of her life. In addition, she was a loving grandmother to Mustapha, Brittany, Mikhal, Jeremy, Jada, Jayden and Jordan; and great-grandmother to Aubri and Tristan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
