William Barber “Billy” Thrall Jr., 62, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2020. He was born Jan. 4, 1958, to Vivian Ceceilia Thrall and William Bill Thrall Sr.
Billy grew up in Williamsburg. From a young age, he loved nature and held a special place in his heart for the ocean. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School. He later graduated from Long Island University in 1981 with a B.S. Degree, majoring in Business Administration and Computers. Billy was employed by Mutual of American in Boca Raton, Florida, for over the past 18 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diane Arones Thrall; son, William Brandon Thrall; daughter, Jessica Kendall Thrall; sisters, Karen Thrall Holtz and brother-in-law, Richard L. “Butch” Holtz and Jo Thrall Turnelle and brother-in-law, Gene Turnelle; mother-in-law, June Kline Arones; sister-in-law, Lisa May Arones; as well numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 14, in Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg.
