Timothy Carey “Timmy” Lindsay, 55, of Poquoson, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2020.
He was a 1982 graduate of Poquoson High School and a lifelong waterman. He loved working the water; clamming, crabbing and oystering, with clamming being his favorite.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, David Lindsay.
He is survived by his two sons, Timothy Lindsay and Joshua Lindsay; parents, Gloria Ann and Paul Fay Lindsay, brother, Paul Lindsay Jr. (Karen); and special friend, Nell Knight.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Sue and Ike Martin at 105 Rens Road, Lot 44, Poquoson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Poquoson Volunteer Rescue Squad or Poquoson Volunteer Fire Department.
