Filemon Fabunan, 85, went to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. He was born in San Marcelino, Philippines.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years during the Vietnam War and the Lebanon Conflict.
Mr. Fabunan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Epitacia; their children, Patricia Fabunan, David Fabunan and his wife, Darla, and Liza Dekker; and three grandchildren, Tyler Fabunan, and Leah and Meah Smith.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
