Elizabeth Inge Neary, 50, went into the arms of her savior Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 14, 1967, to Elizabeth and Wellford Inge Jr. She graduated in 1985 from Caesar Rodney High School in Dover, Del., received her undergraduate degree from University of Richmond, and obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. She married Sean Emmett Neary on June 27, 1992.
Her P.T. license was utilized at various inpatient and outpatient locations in Virginia. Throughout her life, she attended several churches with the most recent being Spring Branch Community Church in Virginia Beach, Va., and Wyoming United Methodist Church in Dover, Del.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 25 years, Sean Neary; three sons, Colin Martin Neary, Kevin Inge Neary and Brendan Sean Neary; daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Neary of Virginia Beach, Va.; parents, Elizabeth and Wellford Inge Jr. of Dover, Del.; mother-in-law, Helen Neary Pryor, and her husband, Bobby, of Weston, Conn.; sisters, Susan Inge Crowgey, and her husband, James, Laurie Inge Tams, and her husband, Brian; brothers, Wellford Warriner Inge III, and his wife, Kim, and Paul Conrad Inge, and his wife, Tonia; brother-in-law, Martin Neary, and his wife, Kim; sisters-in-law, Patrice Neary Shupack, and her husband, Ian, and Erin Neary Dere, and her husband, Erdal; 17 nieces and nephews; and one great-niece. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many faithful friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 8, at Spring Branch Community Church, 1500 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
