Reynae Lomeli, 68, remembered for her gentleness and sincerity

Reynae Lomeli, 68, loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017. After a courageous 10-year battle with cancer, she left this world with dignity and grace. She was surrounded by her husband and daughters at her death. She was born in Long Beach, Calif., and lived in California until moving to Williamsburg in 2016.

Reynae cherished being a grandmother. She was dedicated to her grandchildren she so dearly loved.

Reynae lived in the dearest moments of our lives and left enduring memories of a gentle and pure-hearted love. She was known and remembered for her gentleness and sincerity. She thanked God daily for her loving family and how blessed she felt. Her absence will be dearly felt by those who were fortunate to have her in their lives.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Greg; daughters, Denette Lauer (Mike) and Stacie Puentes (Juan); grandchildren, Lorenzo Puentes, Marco Puentes, Monica Puentes, Isaac Lauer and Isabella Lauer; dear, loving sister, Marilyn Carpenter (Randy); and nephews, Ryan Carpenter (Allison) and Cris Carpenter (Julie).

A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at James City County Community Church, 4550 Old News Road, Williamsburg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the church. Burial will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg.
