Carol Edna Peters, 95, was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Patriots Colony in Williamsburg, Va., with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Darrell F. Peters; and her grandson, Jonathan Peter Cole.
She leaves behind her four daughters Donna King (Michael), Marilyn Peters, Joan Cole (James) and Karen Barbalace (Philip); five grandchildren, Katherine Ferguson (Craig), Bradley King (Tara), Colin Barbalace (Alexis), Ryan Barbalace and Janna Cole; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a wonderful, loving wife and mother. Her family would like to thank the staff of Patriots Colony and her caregivers for the love and compassion they showed her.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Patriots Colony at Williamsburg, 6200 Patriots Colony Drive, Williamsburg. An interment service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7426 Idylwood Road, Falls Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road, Williamsburg.
