Owen Michael Hudson, 55, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. Owen was born in New Orleans and had been a Peninsula resident for 40 years.
He attended Denbigh High School in Newport News, Va., and was a graduate of El Camino College in Redondo Beach, Calif. He worked as a private investor for 20 years. He also worked for the General Assembly and was active in local politics. He enjoyed traveling, music and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carole Ann Hudson; sons, Michael and David Hudson; parents, Ron M. Hudson and Mary Wood Hudson; brother, Ron M. Hudson Jr.; and many extended family members.
A memorial Mass and inurnment service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Yorktown. A reception in honor of Owen will follow in the church social hall.
