William P. ‘Page’ Mann Jr., 76, lived his life with quiet reserve

William P. ‘Page’ Mann Jr., 76, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born Nov. 15, 1940, to the late William and Matilda Mann Sr.

Page was originally from Tappahannock and had lived most of his adult life in Williamsburg. He served his country in the U.S. Army while stationed in Boston, Mass. Page retired after more than 25 years’ service from BASF. He was a simple man who lived his life with quiet reserve. Page was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Haile Mann.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Mann; three children, Deborah Burch Noble, and her fiancé, William Dorsett, Timothy William Burch, and his wife, Katrina, and Matilda Elizabeth Mann, and her fiancé, James Walton; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Burch, Dylan Burch, Makayla Burch, Caity Washam, Morgan Burch, Kade Burch and Albert Page Walton; sister-in-law, Mary Mann; and four nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Millers Tavern, Tappahannock, Va.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 278, Millers Tavern, VA 23115.
