David Eure, 55, born April 7, 1961, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, after a short but brave fight against cancer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Eure Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Louise R. Eure; two sisters, Tammy Young, and her husband, Terry, from Virginia Beach and Dawn Vasquez, and her husband, Pete, of Gonzales, La.; aunt, Vivian Earnhardt; and two cousins, Louise, and her husband, Royal, and Jeff of Greensboro, N.C.
His passions included working on anything with an engine and was noted as saying, “I have a chainsaw, just show me the way.”
We would like to thank our team at med-Home Care Hospice. David had a special bond with nurse Susan and nurse Neomi; everyone’s loving kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends in the Kings Grant area. Fly high David, we’ll see you when we get there.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
