Jeffrey D. Palmer, 65, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Born in Westville, N.J., he was the son of the late Wallace and Amelia Palmer. He was an HVAC supervisor for Superior Heating and Air Conditioning and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cathy D. Palmer; four daughters, Suzanne, Cherie, Danielle and Catrina; two sisters, Beverly and Faye; two brothers, Lee and Wallace; mother-in-law, Melissa Woolard; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Newton (Mike) and Joyce Crain (Donnie); and 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. A funeral service will follow visitation at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sentara Heart Hospital.
