Ellen Ann Crow, 62, peacefully passed away February 10, 2016. She was a teacher for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. A native of Virginia Beach, she was the daughter of the late William and Marilyn Lavelle.
Ellen is survived by her best friend and husband of 43 years, Douglas Crow; daughter, Jennifer Crow; brother, William Lavelle, and wife, Susan; sister-in-law, Ann Davis, and, husband Pat; brother-in-law, John Crow; sister-in-law, Mary Stapleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Lavelle; and a brother, Patrick Lavelle.
The family would like to thank her longtime friends, Denise Padrick and Marlene Woodall; Ann Smalls of H & L Hair Garden; and Dr. Thomas Alberico for his excellent care and support.
A celebration of life visitation service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel.
