Magdalen Louise (Botelho) Barboza, born September 13, 1931, in Fall River, MA, was welcomed to the heavens above on December 5, 2015 with her family by her side.
She married her true love, Joseph on June 22, 1957 at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, in Fall River, MA. Magdalen’s unique charm is greatly missed by her survivors including her sister, Lorraine of Swansea, MA; children: son Michael (Charlene) Barboza, daughter Donna Davidson, son Kevin Barboza, son Brian (Linda) Barboza all of Virginia Beach, VA and daughter Karen (Ted) Kapturowski of York, PA as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Edward Botelho.
Family and friends are welcome to attend A Celebration of Life for Joseph & Magdalen Barboza which will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd, Virginia Beach on January 9, 2016 from 1-3 pm. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barboza will rest eternally together at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk, VA during a private ceremony held on April 13, 2016.
