Alvro Woods Dormon, 91, passed peacefully in her husband’s arms in Friday, December 4, 2015. She was born May 18, 1924 in Louisiana to the late John George & Alvro (Fair) Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings & her grandmother, May Fair Radigan, who raised her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Leo E. Dormon; daughter Carroll D. Maus and her husband Jon; granddaughter E. Heather Femia & her husband Joseph; and great grandchildren Natalie Rose, Hannah Elaine, & Joseph Leo Femia.
Mrs. Dormon will be inurned privately in Arlington National Cemetery. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
