Bruce Robert Pugh, of Williamsburg, died Aug. 31, 2015, at the age of 82.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce M. and Sylvia Pugh and his daughter, Marilyn M. Stoeffler.

Bruce worked for the U.S. government as a medical technician in the Dept. of Defense. He was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing bridge and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn L. Pugh; sons, David L. and Rachinee Pugh, Bruce E. and Mandy Pugh; daughter, Carol D. and Marlin “Red” Meier; son-in-law, Jan Stoeffler; grandchildren, Dru Hoogerwerf, Lindsey and Lauren Pugh, Maddie and Jack Gibson, Preston, Katie and Alison Meier, Jordyn, Camden and Morgan Pugh and David and Mia McGraw; and great-grandchildren, Sean and Shelby McGraw and Skylar and Sidney Hoogerwerf.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA, followed by a service at 7 p.m.
