Mamie R. Waller, 89, enjoyed watching birds at the feeders, squirrels in the yard

Mamie R. Waller, of Williamsburg, died Aug. 27, 2015, at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Waller and brother, Robert Jones.

Mamie is survived by her children, Susan Hodges, of Williamsburg, Mike (Christine) Waller, of Oregon, Ronald (Jeannette) Waller, of Vermont and Roger (Donna) Waller, of Virginia; grandchildren, Becky (Kevin) Kitson, of Illinois, Jessica (Jean Pierre) Mouzon, of California, Thomas Waller, of Vermont, Christopher Waller, of Virginia, Aaron Waller, of North Dakota and Elizabeth (Kraig) Kitson, of Illinois; six great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Perry, of North Carolina.

Mamie loved her family, friends and nature. She loved to watch the birds at the feeders and the squirrels in the yard. Doing picture puzzles and crossword puzzles were her favorites. She will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice House of Williamsburg is appreciated.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Bucktrout Funeral Home. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg,VA 23188.
