After a week of hospital care in Williamsburg, Marthe L. Perdrisat died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. She was 93.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Charles Perdrisat, she had been my dear wife for 52 years, the mother of our son, Terry (Francois) Perdrisat and grandmother for three sons Matthew, Jonathan and David. Her family lives in Switzerland and includes one niece and three nephews, children of her now deceased brother and sister.
She will be remembered as a very happy, engaging and creative person; in particular, she devoted much of her time to running her Kingsmill Art Studio.
Her celebration of life memorial will be at 5 p.m. Friday Aug. 22, 2014, at Bucktrout Funeral Home of Williamsburg.
