Grafton High hosted four other Bay Rivers District track and field teams for a regular-season outdoor track and field meet at Bailey Field on Wednesday.
It was also Senior Day for the host Clippers, who during a short break in the action recognized their senior athletes with a ceremony.

Scoring-wise, the day belonged to Lafayette and Smithfield, who combined to win 21 of the 34 total events.
Lafayette dominated the girls meet, winning six events to outscore second-place Smithfield 125-85. The Rams finished less than 10 points behind Smithfield on the boys’ side, 89.33-79.50, to place runner up.
Other competing teams were Grafton, Jamestown and Poquoson.
