Sometimes even the most meticulous planners can still be caught off-guard by a Thanksgiving dinner disaster.

It happens to the best of us: The turkey burns, the turkey is still frozen, the dog eats the sweet potatoes, the oven breaks.

For those dealing with a Thanksgiving dinner disaster, or who simply didn’t want to cook, there are still some options.

The Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association has compiled a holiday dining guide showing what is open a closed Thanksgiving Day.
