Today is Election Day and Historic Triangle residents will be casting their ballots for representatives at the local and state levels.
Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. To find your polling place and see which races are on your ballot, click here.
Voters can find information specific to them — including their voting district, their precinct and more — at these links:
Registration for Tuesday’s election ended Oct. 13. Any eligible voter who signed up before that date may participate in the election.
All schools in the York County School Division and the Williamsburg-James City County School Division will be closed for Election Day.

General Assembly Elections
Voters in the 1st District of the Virginia Senate can cast a ballot for incumbent John Miller (D) or challenger Mark Matney (R). The candidates met in a forum Sept. 17, which was hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Williamsburg Area.
In the 3rd District of the Virginia Senate voters will choose between incumbent Tommy Norment (R) or challenger Hugo Reyes (D).
A Democratic incumbent and a Republican challenger are vying for the 93rd District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. Williamsburg, parts of James City and York counties and part of Newport News are represented by the 93rd District seat.

A Republican incumbent and an Independent challenger are competing for the 96th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. The 96th District includes parts of Newport News and parts of James City and York counties.

Local Elections, York County
York County residents will be voting for their representatives on the Board of Supervisors and the School Board. They will also cast ballots for the York-Poquoson Sheriff, Commonwealth’s Attorney and Circuit Court Clerk.
In the Board of Supervisors race, three incumbents – Walt Zaremba, Sheila Noll and Tom Shepperd – are running unopposed for re-election. Three newcomers and one former candidate are vying for the District 3 and the District 4 seats, which are being vacated by incumbents.
