HISTORIC TRIANGLE — Many businesses in the Historic Triangle are offering special Veterans Day deals to both veterans and active-duty service members.

- Alewerks Brewing Company is saluting U.S. military members with the release of Olive Drab, a best bitter-style beer and is encouraging folks to “Buy a Beer for a Vet.” Customers may purchase an Alewerks pint of beer for a veteran in the days leading up to Veterans Day and then on Nov. 11, active-duty military members and veterans can visit Alewerks’ Brewery Taproom or L.A.B. Taproom in the Williamsburg Premium Outlets to receive the beer purchased by a customer. Partial proceeds of Olive Drab beer purchases will also be donated to the local chapter of the United Service Organizations (USO).
- Buckets Car Wash is offering a free car wash for all veterans and active-duty service members. On Veterans Day, service members can choose the “Best Bucket” top package exterior car wash or a free self-serve wash. The offer is valid on Nov. 11 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at 6950 Richmond Road, Williamsburg.
- AutoBell Car Wash is offering all veterans and active-duty service members a free Ride-Thru Exterior car wash or an equivalent credit toward another wash option. No coupon, barcode, or ID is required.
- Colonial Williamsburg (CW) is offering Free Admission for military families over Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 11-13. The free admission is open to all active-duty military, reservists, National Guard Members, Veterans, Retirees, and their direct dependents, CW stated in its announcement. The free admission includes access to historic trades and sites, admission to the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, and complimentary shuttle service.
- On Nov. 11 Wendy’s is offering a free small breakfast combo with a valid military ID on Veterans Day at participating locations. No purchase is necessary.
- Wawa is offering free coffee for Veterans, active-duty military, and family members on Veterans Day.
- Starbucks on Veterans Day is offering active-duty service members, reservists, veterans, and military spouses to enjoy a free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed or iced coffee at participating Starbucks stores.
- Red Lobster is offering guests a free Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Fries, and Coleslaw. The offer is available for dine-in and to-go orders placed in-restaurant between 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 11. Guests must show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer.
- Olive Garden is offering veterans and active-duty service members a free entree from a special menu on Nov. 11. The menu includes never-ending soup, salad, breadsticks, cheese ravioli, spaghetti, and meatballs, amongst other menu items.
- IHOP is offering veterans and active-duty military free Red, White, and Blueberry pancakes at participating locations on Nov. 11 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Military ID or proof of service is required.
- Golden Corral is offering a free “thank you” meal on Nov. 14 from 5 p.m.-close as part of its Military Appreciation Night. The offer is for U.S. Military members including retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard, or reserves.
- Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is offering all veterans and active military personnel a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card. No purchase is necessary. Cards may be redeemed through Nov. 30.
- Dunkin’ Donuts is offering veterans and active-duty military a free donut at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide. No purchase is necessary.
- Buffalo Wild Wings is offering veterans and active-duty military who dine in or call for takeout a free order of boneless wings and a side of fries on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
- 7-Eleven is offering a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% to active-duty service members, retirees, veterans, reserves, and National Guard.
