WILLIAMSBURG — Colonial Williamsburg is hosting a block party in Merchants Square on Friday, Aug. 26, and Saturday, Aug. 27 from 2-5 p.m. to celebrate the completion of a newly renovated parking lot.
The Merchants Square Block Party will feature merchants and restaurants offering special event deals, offering a chance to come out and support local businesses while snagging a deal in the process.
Some of the deals include:
- Baskin-Robbins — Buy a double-scoop, get a kid’s scoop free deal.
- Three Cabanas — A lollipop pull offering various levels of discounts or a gift card to Baskin-Robbins.
- Danforth Pewter — A spinning wheel of prizes and the chance to enter to win a $50 gift card
- French Twist Boutique — Light refreshments and 20-50% off the sales rack.
In addition, Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville Real Estate and TowneBank Mortgage will be hosting open houses during the festivities.
The Shoe Attic will also hold its grand re-opening, back in its old space. Saturday, enjoy cookies from Cookie Chris and some light refreshments from Sippin’ Southern. There will also be live music, with Collin Mazanek performing Friday and Liana Dagmar on Saturday.
