JAMES CITY COUNTY — The Virginia State Police (VSP) are currently searching for two patients who escaped from Eastern State Hospital Sunday, April 17.
The two patients were identified as 29-year-old Bryant Marcus Wilkerson, who is described as an African American male, and 31-year-old Austin Preston Leigh, described as a white male.
VSP said that both men are convicted felons with outstanding warrants.
Leigh has outstanding drug-related warrants out of Chesapeake, along with a warrant for escaping a mental facility.
Wilkerson is wanted on a felony probation violation, and also has a warrant for escaping a mental facility. He is considered armed and dangerous.
