WILLIAMSBURG — Take part in a three-day bike tour for exercise, fun and to support a local charity.

From June 18-20, the 3 Day Bike About through the Historic Triangle will offer cyclists along with their families and friends a three-day weekend of bike riding and sightseeing event.

The three-day bike tour will camp at Chickahominy Riverfront Park, 1350 John Tyler Hwy, along the Chickahominy River and the Virginia Capital Trail. Routes will send riders off in a different direction with new spots to visit each day, ranging anywhere from 15-100 miles.

On Friday, riders will bike the Virginia Capital Trail. Saturday will start off with a ferry ride across the James River to Chippokes Plantation State Park. The tour concludes Sunday with routes to parks in and around Williamsburg, and a boxed lunch provided by Spoke & Art.

Cyclists who are not riding or their non-cycling family members can participate in other activities throughout the weekend, such as kayaking, hiking, shopping, or dining.

The tour will benefit the The Arc of Greater Williamsburg, an organization that assists young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Registration closes June 4 and is limited to 400 riders. To register, visit here.
