WILLIAMSBURG — The Pampered Bath celebrated the grand opening of its brick-and-mortar store at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Friday, May 16.
The business was launched by Florence Santoro. Born in Virginia Beach, Santoro moved to Williamsburg in 2014, and last year she started The Pampered Bath online, providing all-natural or plant-based soaps, bathbombs, shower steamers, and other bath and hygiene products. All of the products are hand-made by Santoro’s business partner, with designs and scent choices by Santoro.
As the popularity of the site grew, Santoro decided she wanted to try her hand at establishing the store as brick and mortar, resulting in the location opening at the Premium Outlets in Williamsburg.
“It’s so exciting, because I wanted to start this business 18 years ago, but I have another business and that took up most of my time. I feel that things happen for a reason, so the timing now is right for me to do this and bring it to the community,” explained Santoro.
“Welcome to James City County, we’re glad to have another business here, it keeps the success of James City County and all our businesses moving forward,” said Board of Supervisors member Michael Hipple at the ribbon cutting.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 5711 Richmond Road at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets.
The store also ships nationally as well as internationally to Canada and Mexico. To learn more about the store and its wares, visit the official website.
