NEWPORT NEWS — The Peninsula Task Force on Aging is hosting its annual caregiver event at the Mariners’ Museum and Park this week.

The event celebrates all caregivers with soup, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music, according to the event page.
In addition, caregivers can be nominated for recognition and attendees can donate prizes or help sponsor the event.
The 6th Annual Soup for Caregivers’ Soul event is at the Mariners’ Museum and Park, 100 Museum Drive on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
